Dykema Gossett PLLC, a leading national law firm, is recruiting for a Practice Solutions Analyst to work with team members and practice-specific team leadership to facilitate the effective use of technology and processes to support practice group strategic objectives. The focus of this position is to enhance client service by supporting the implementation and use of meaningful practice technologies and solutions that improve efficiencies and client service. This position reports to the Director, Strategic Legal Innovation and may reside in any of our Dykema offices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Research and evaluate software products, recommends new programs or enhancements to current applications programs, systems, and operating methods;
Work with project team members and attorneys to analyze complex business problems, identify potential software solutions to procedural inefficiencies, and design programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements;
Evaluate and pilot legal technology identified as having a potential positive impact on client service, including emerging artificial intelligence applications;
Work with individual attorneys and legal teams to ensure adoption of practice solutions and technologies.
Participate in the ongoing development and implementation of improved processes and procedures;
Routinely meet with project team members and attorneys involved in the process to design, flowchart, define intent, determine input/output requirements, assess training issues, and ensure the program meets all user specifications;
Produce weekly and monthly reports of work performed, trainings, and other relevant reports as requested by the Director;
Participate in team meetings, vendor meetings and Practice Group trainings and meetings requested or delegated by the Director; and
Perform additional practice service functions and tasks as requested or delegated by the Director.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Post Graduate degree such as JD, MLS, or MLIS from an accredited school preferred;
One to three years’ experience with practice technologies and solutions in a legal or corporate environment required;
Project management, process improvement, and/or knowledge management experience is a plus;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments, use initiative and judgment to accomplish results, participate as a team leader or member of a team, work under pressure, and complete job assignments in an accurate, timely, and professional manner;
Experience with practice technologies such as document automation tools, e-signature software, client collaboration tools and transaction management solutions preferred; and
Must be a self-starter, highly organized and a team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills; and
