Overview: Reporting to the Assistant General Counsel – International Trade, the Senior Counsel – Anti-Corruption and Anti-Money Laundering will be responsible for day-to-day advice to the Company and its business professionals on a range of Anti-Corruption and Anti-Money Laundering compliance & regulatory matters.

PMI has six of the world’s top 15 international brands, including Marlboro. The Company's legal seat is in New York City; however it has publicly announced that it is moving its headquarters to Fairfield County, CT by next summer. Operational headquarters are in Lausanne, Switzerland.

While historically a tobacco company, PMI is dedicated to doing something very dramatic—they want to replace cigarettes with smoke-free products as fast as possible. That’s why PMI has more than 430 scientists, engineers, and technicians developing less-harmful alternatives to cigarettes at their two research facilities in Switzerland and Singapore. These scientists are working on smoke-free products. It’s the biggest shift in PMI’s history. And PMI believes it’s the right one for their consumers, the Company, their shareholders, and society.

Experience: At least eight years of legal experience and in-depth expertise in: anti-corruption and anti-bribery regulations, such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, UK Bribery Act, anti-corruption international conventions, anti-money laundering legislation and regulations, including corruption related sanctions (e.g., the Global Magnitsky Program). Both in house and major law firm experience preferred.

Location: New York, NY, transitioning to the Lower Fairfield, CT region in six months.

Compensation: Competitive base, bonus and equity, commensurate with experience.
