We are a small law firm dedicated to the representation of both detained and non-detained immigrants. Our firm's practice consists of immigration before the EOIR and BIA: applications for asylum, withholding of removal, relief under the Convention Against Torture, SIJS, Waivers of inadmissibility, naturalization, marriage-based immigration petitions, etc.

Spanish language fluency is required. Please submit resume, cover letter and writing sample

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Advise clients regarding recommended strategies for the optimal resolution of their cases.
• Maintain communication with clients throughout their immigration process.
• Prepare clients for Master and Individual court hearings.
• Represent clients in Master and Individual court hearings.
• Revision of Freedom of Information Act requests to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
• Prepare client applications and petitions using computer software.
• Maintain applications, records, and all required documentation according to procedures; submit in a timely fashion.
• Maintain and increase up-to-date knowledge of immigration law and policies through daily reading (e-mail list serves, publications) and participation in webinars, staff meetings, and periodic training.
• Perform other related duties as assigned with little to no supervision.

• Must have a valid bar license to practice.
• At least 3 years of immigration experience.
• Strong writing, verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to serve clients in a professional, welcoming, and efficient manner.
• Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to learn technical and legal information.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
