The role requires excellent customer service skills, both over the phone and in person. It is important that the candidate be service-oriented and capable of communicating effectively with all levels of staff and attorneys. The selected candidate will be a team player. Must be proactive and able to anticipate, analyze and resolve issues under pressure. Responsible for providing high quality technical support to customers.
Working remotely is an option in this role as part of a hybrid schedule and is as agreed upon by the CTO. A key aspect of the employee's function is that they should be available to be at any of our offices as needed.
Essential Responsibilities:
Provide top notch IT support for all users
Receive incoming help requests via phone, email, walk-ins and the electronic ticketing system
Maintain communication with user issues utilizing the Firm’s ticketing system
Set up and delivery of various hardware and audio/visual requests within conference rooms at the Philadelphia location and occasionally off site at either Firm satellite offices or court rooms
Ensure all office-integrated conference rooms are kept in appropriate working order – checking all cable connections, network ports, and functionality on a scheduled basis
Work closely with other members of the IT team to develop and maintain best practices, share information, and write internal documentation
Other projects and duties as requested by the CTO
You should have experience with the following:
Minimum 3 years of general IT support experience
Working knowledge of applications and technologies, including but not limited to DMS, Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft 365, Horizon View
Knowledge of AV/Video Conference room setups and support
Experience with Virtual Meeting platforms (Zoom, MS Teams, etc.)
Understanding and supporting a variety of mobile devices
Digital dictation support
Ability to handle conflict and difficult situations within a technical and client service environment
Exceptional communication abilities to all levels of personnel
The ability to adapt to new technologies and be self-motivated
Experience in any of the following areas would be a plus:
NetDocuments Document Management System
VMWare vSphere
Trial Support Software - (Hot Seat)
Mobile Device Management
Basic Coding Knowledge (Netbeans, HTML5, Ajax, Java)
Simple Video Editing
Microsoft SQL
Previous experience in support role at a Law Firm preferred, but not required
