Burnett Wilson Law, LLP is seeking an Attorney to immediately join our growing firm located at 17525 Arbor Street, Omaha, Ne.  The Attorney will join our growing Personal Injury practice. The attorney position requires a highly motivated, experienced candidate who can complete projects with a high degree of detail, efficiency, and professional excellence in a collegial environment. 

Essential Duties /Responsibilities

• Preparing needed documents through researching, drafting, formatting, and proof-reading related correspondence
• Organizing, and maintaining client files (physical and electronic) and deadlines
• Scheduling and coordinating attorney meetings
• Communicating and meeting with clients and others
• Assisting attorneys as requested
• Carry a case load from beginning to completion with minimal supervision
• Oher duties as assigned

• Minimum 4-5 years’ experience as an attorney
• Ability to demonstrate effective written/verbal communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work with multiple team members confidently and respectfully, including attorneys and other staff
• Ability to prioritize in a multi-tasking environment with accountability
• Ability to utilize critical thinking and exercise initiative
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Must have some book of business while your personal injury book grows. Current book of business does not need to be in Personal Injury, although this is a plus.
