The successful candidate will prepare loan documents through our Laser Pro software and ensure that documents are reviewed against the credit approval while complying with Bank Policy and Federal Regulations. The Loan Documentation Specialist II will provide ongoing feedback to Management, ensuring that all issues are properly escalated.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Prepare loan closing documentation for commercial loans in Laser Pro software, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and structure approved by the Bank’s Loan Committees.
Order title work, flood determinations, UCC searches, and certificates of good standing.
Communicate with Loan Officers in obtaining necessary information to complete loan file and address closing conditions on approval.
Examine documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Communicate with attorneys to resolve any issues prior to closing.
Coordinate loan closing with Loan Officer and Title Company.
Adhere to departmental procedures and processes.
Complete required checklists for Loan Documentation, Loan Operations, and Compliance.
Adhere to BSA/CIP collection and procedures.
Communicate with Loan Operations on booking loans in the Jack Henry system.
Scan all documents to corresponding online folders and Synergy imaging software upon receipt.
Record and “perfect” collateral.
Backup to Loan Documentation Specialist I.
Complete compliance training in a timely manner.
Special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
College degree or equivalent work experience.
A minimum of 2 years of commercial loan documentation experience in processing new loans as well as renewals, extensions, and modifications.
Minimum of 2 years of LaserPro experience.
Ability to handle title company closings and loan funding.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.

Confident self-starter and quick learner who requires minimal supervision.
Exhibits a high level of responsiveness, sense of urgency, and passion for producing the best work possible.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
