CHIEF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY COUNSEL
Overview: Clorox is seeking a dynamic Chief Intellectual Property (IP) Counsel to drive creative and practical strategies in a world-class legal organization. Reporting to the VP - Deputy General Counsel, this attorney will be a strategic partner on all IP-related matters to achieve business goals across a diverse portfolio of consumer brands. The Chief IP Counsel will set the focus and direction for IP initiatives, oversee the management of the global IP portfolio, and lead and develop a high-performing and experienced team of 8-10 IP professionals.

Experience: The successful candidate will have 15+ years of experience in the successful development and execution of brand-focused IP strategies, inclusive of trademarks, patents, trade secrets, and copyrights.
Location: Oakland, CA (The successful candidate must reside in the Bay Area, but Clorox offers a flexible/hybrid on-site work schedule.) This is a national search.
Bar: Candidate must be a member of the California State Bar or otherwise qualified to practice law in California as registered in-house counsel.
