The Senior Manager, Staff Recruiting is responsible for recruiting all staff personnel. This position will lead the talent acquisition strategy and successful placements through both passive and active recruiting efforts that are consistent with the firm’s strategic goals. This position will also provide the opportunity to significantly shape and own how we approach staff recruitment across the firm. A hybrid work schedule is available for this position.

Responsibilities:
Manage oversight of and execute firm-wide staff recruiting process, including assessment of candidate qualifications, initial screening and interviewing, offer development and due diligence processes; carry active search load
Develop and implement recruiting strategies and best practices to proactively source, recruit, hire and retain top-tier candidates that contribute to the growth and strategic goals of the firm
Ensure all hiring practices are compliant with relevant federal, state and local laws and regulations
Work with firm leadership to understand the industry economics and create recruiting strategies that align with the firm’s goals
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients, including hiring managers, attorneys, staff, candidates and search consultants
Implement strategic recruiting goals with the senior HR team
Develop firm brand in the marketplace
Expand reporting, internal and external research and benchmarking for the function
Stay current of changes in the industry and analyze competitive market intelligence such as hiring data and potential opportunities that could contribute to the firm’s growth
Develop and manage budget for staff recruiting efforts
Oversee and maintain applicant tracking system on firm-wide basis
Periodically lead and/or participate in cross-firm special projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition
Perform other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Work experience in lieu of a degree will be considered
6 to 10 years of broad recruiting experience and experience managing a recruiting team, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment
Demonstrated management ability with proactive approach to recruiting
Highly motivated, creative, flexible, and results-oriented
Extremely responsive to both internal and external clients and be able to communicate recommendations to hiring managers based on knowledge of the markets, current trends, candidate and talent strategies
Detail-oriented team player, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, including ability to manage multiple, diverse projects concurrently
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong command of legal staff recruiting best practices with the ability to represent the firm in a highly professional manner
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Flexibility to travel and work extended hours as needed
