General Summary: Under direction, oversee the daily functioning of the Firm’s personal computers and telephone system at all Firm office locations. Work cohesively with team members, supervisors, attorneys and staff to provide efficient and superior customer service.
Responsibilities:
Maintain the Firm’s personal computers in working order and telephone systems for all offices.
Ensure problems with hardware, software and cabling are handled in a timely manner.
Identify, analyze and solve user problems; answer user questions.
Install and/or relocate telephones as needed.
Maintain printers in working order.
Install and/or relocate computers and software as necessary.
Maintain an accurate inventory of all PCs.
Assist with Customer Support Help Desk calls.
Maintain and log all support calls.
Assist the CTO as needed.
Qualifications:
A minimum of one to three years of IT experience is preferred with law firm experience preferred.
Excellent computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to analyze and solve problems.
Ability to communicate clearly and interface diplomatically with all personnel.
Must be efficient, accurate, flexible, timely, organized and have excellent attention to detail.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Team player and a positive attitude is a must.
Must meet minimum testing requirements.
Able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
Supervisor’s Title: Chief Technology Officer
Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Remote/Hybrid options available. This position depends upon the ability of the employee to work closely with attorneys and staff members during regularly scheduled hours. This position requires the ability to work overtime, which often cannot be predicted. This position requires the ability to travel to other branch offices, which may involve an overnight stay extending beyond one day.
