Job Description
What you’ll do in your role.
Serve as day-to-day legal advisor to T-Mobile investigative groups responsible for investigating Code of Business Conduct violations, and other legal, regulatory, or company policy violations
Scope, manage, and direct attorney-client privileged investigations of legal and policy violations
Coordinate with litigation, cybersecurity, and other legal partners on complex, cross-functional investigations
Coordinate with law enforcement agencies on investigation-related matters, including supporting development of enforcement referrals; drafting or approving warrant and subpoena responses; and leading or working with outside counsel in communications with law enforcement as appropriate
Assist or lead compliance incident reviews, including fact finding and root cause analysis; advise on and facilitate implementation of appropriate remedial activities
Monitor enforcement trends and regularly advise investigation teams, business units, and legal partners on investigation best practices
Help develop training and educational programs and materials investigation and remediation efforts
Project management

The experience you’ll bring.
Qualifications (Required):
A U.S. law degree and admission to at least one state bar required
7+ years of experience as an attorney with relevant government, in-house, or law firm experience (at least two of three preferred)
Prior government investigations experience either directly supporting federal, state, or local law enforcement in criminal or complex civil matters or supporting large enterprises in connection with such investigations
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other legal and business professionals in a complex organization with a focus on delivering crisp and precise guidance on tight deadlines
Ability to interact with senior management with strong executive maturity
Ability to establish self as subject matter expert in specialty fields
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with investigators
Keen business sense with strong judgment, writing, and decision-making skills
Qualifications (Preferred):
Familiarity with U.S. Sentencing Guidelines elements of an effective compliance program
Familiarity with frontline sales and marketing efforts in the telecommunications industry or other large service-industry companies
Prior experience conducting root cause analysis and post-investigation remediation activities
Prior experience developing and providing training to investigators and business leaders
