Job Description:
At Regions, the Loan Fulfillment Construction Lending Risk Manager manages a team that evaluates risks associated with residential home builders and contracts submitted as part of an application of a construction permanent loan request.
Primary Responsibilities
Manages a team of associates responsible for evaluating the risk on loan requests for construction permanent loan applications by reviewing builders, contracts, cost/budget, appraisals, complexity of home designs/specifications, surveys, and internal program guidelines
Oversees the resolution of loans past due on interest, loans past maturity, loans encumbered by liens or lawsuits, builder/borrower disputes and other problem loans
Works with borrowers, builders, title agents and attorneys within the compliance framework to attain outcomes most favorable to the bank
Determines guidelines for project reviews that are appropriate to state statutes and administration consistent with Regions Construction Permanent (CP) loan agreement
Directs departmental operations, analytics, and reporting
Addresses problem loans and provides appropriate solutions
Manages a team by working with other departments to convert loans within a timely manner
Oversees appropriate departmental staffing as dictated by business cycles and technology
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
This is a single incumbent position.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Seven (7) years of mortgage lending experience
Three (3) years of supervisory or managerial experience
Preferences
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Knowledge of the construction administration process
Skills and Competencies
Ability to build relationships
Ability to meet deadlines and achieve goals
Excellent communication skills
Great organization skills
Additional Responsibilities:
- Oversight of the construction administration process as it relates to inspections, draws and pipeline management.
- Ensuring overall performance of the department as it relates to service levels, quality and risk management.
Additional Preference:
5 years Construction Lending Experience

Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the national range and level of the position.

Incentive Pay Plans:
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual, business, and/or company performance.
