This role is available to be located in any of the following locations: Bellevue, WA, Overland Park, KS or Reston, VA.
This attorney, working in the Legal Affairs Department, will represent T-Mobile and provide counsel to business units and Human Resources on employment and labor-related legal matters as assigned; and prepare and review legal documents including pleadings, briefs, position statements, and other filings.
What you’ll do in your role.
Provide counseling to HR and other internal clients to identify and manage labor and employment legal risks
Act as subject matter expert for specialty area(s) including discrimination, ADA, FMLA, pay equity, wrongful termination, retaliation, and internal employment investigations
Engage and work with outside counsel to manage employment litigation and administrative proceedings
Develop and review written HR policies, guidelines and processes, templates, and training materials
Develop and deliver legal training for HR and other internal clients
Provide employment law advice regarding and directing internal investigations
Advise and help clients understand employment law related compliance issues
Counsel and advise business clients on a wide variety of complex and developing employment-related legal and business issues
The experience you’ll bring.
7-10 years, of experience as an employment attorney, with relevant in-house and/or top law firm experience
Minimum 5 years, prefer 8+ years, of experience handling employment litigation
