The Corporate Team seeks an associate with zero to one year of corporate transactions experience to join its Mergers and Acquisitions practice group in Richmond. Candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in public and private merger and acquisition transactions, securities law, private equity transactions and corporate governance matters. The ideal candidate will also have a strong academic record, exceptional analytical and writing skills and be a true team player. Prior work experience, professional experience and advanced degrees (particularly an MBA) are valued. Virginia bar membership will be required within one year of hiring.
