Job Summary:
Responsibility for supervising students in all aspects of client representation as the primary attorney in the Immigration Clinic. Responsible for teaching substantive law to clinic students as well as professionalism and lawyering skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate earned from an ABA -accredited law school; A strong academic record and/or other indicia of high-performance ability; A minimum of 3 years of recent experience practicing immigration law, including both defensive and affirmative work; Demonstrated commitment to work for low-income immigrant clients; Enthusiasm and potential to teach and mentor law students; Commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion and building community; Aptitude for working both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment; Excellent oral and written communication skills.
