Overview: LRE is currently seeking a transactional attorney to provide legal support, guidance, and advice on a variety of real estate and other legal issues associated with the development, construction, and commercialization of the company’s renewable energy projects. The position will report to the company’s VP & Deputy General Counsel, and it provides the perfect opportunity for a professional looking to expand his or her experience by joining a dynamic team in a rapidly growing organization. The successful candidate will work with all levels of the organization and will directly contribute to the company’s success.
Company: LRE is a leading renewable energy company that owns and operates a portfolio of 24 renewable energy facilities across nine states totaling approximately 2,500 megawatts of generating capacity. LRE is actively developing and contracting new wind, solar, and energy storage projects in energy markets across the U.S.
Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience consisting of base salary and annual cash bonus.
Location: Dallas, Texas (with 3 days a week in office).
Experience: The successful candidate will have a JD with a strong academic background; active and in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar (Texas or New York preferred). 7-10 year’s experience in transactional construction; renewable energy experience is a plus. Training with a top-tier law firm is preferred.
