Corporate and Securities Litigation Associate

Location: New York

The New York office of Hunton Andrews Kurth is seeking an Associate with 0-3 years of experience to join its Litigation practice. Ideal candidates will have a compelling academic record, exceptional analytical and writing skills, professional experience as either a federal law clerk and/or in another work environment characterized by habitual excellence, as well as a keen desire to be a true team player. The position will involve working primarily with a group of lawyers who handle complex business disputes across a broad variety of industries, including financial services, real estate, energy, media, and retail, as well as a broad cross section of subjects including complex business disputes, mass torts, securities and government investigations. This is an ideal position for a lawyer with outstanding credentials who is keen to grow his or her skillset and take on greater responsibility over the next number of years in their career.  Thus, the lawyer will also be called on to work with other lawyers across the firm as part of teams or, as appropriate, individually.  New York Bar membership is strongly preferred. At the time of posting, the expected salary range for this position for full-time on-track associates is $215,000 to $250,000. Actual salary offers may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to, education, training, skill sets, licensure and certifications, practice area, experience, internal equity, and market data.
