About the role As a Global Attorney Training Manager – Transactional Training, you will be responsible for supporting the Corporate, Finance, and Tax Department Practice Group Chairs (Transactional PGCs) in developing and executing transactional training for attorneys. Other key responsibilities include:
Serving as a trusted advisor and a resource for the Transactional PGCs; serving as a point-of-contact to others at the firm regarding transactional training
Supporting the Transactional PGCs and working closely with the Knowledge Management lawyers to execute training programs
Working with the Transactional PGCs to prepare training related presentations to a variety of internal and external audiences on a range of topics
Identifying additional areas of administrative responsibility related to training that can be shifted from the Transactional PGCs to other resources – including the Manager– to ensure the time of the Transactional PGCs are focused on the strategic priorities of the firm
Designing and implementing Transactional boot camp and/or practice group retreat training for associates, and traveling to and providing onsite support for Transactional boot camp and/or practice group retreats
Ensuring continuing service enhancements through benchmarking with law firm peers and by evaluating ways in which existing training programs can be improved to provide additional efficiencies to TACE, the Transactional PGCs, Knowledge Management Lawyers, and the Attorney Development Department
Developing and maintaining strong, interactive relationships with Knowledge Management Lawyers and members of the Attorney Development team; relying on these positive relationships to identify areas where firm resources can be leveraged in new and creative ways to implement training programs
About you We’d love to hear from you if you:
Demonstrate excellent leadership and team-building skills with the ability to lead multiple teams (i.e., organizing, planning, problem-solving, and decision making)
Possess knowledge of project management principles and demonstrate the ability to develop, implement, and manage large, long-term projects
Demonstrate strong analytical skills, and possess the ability to define problems/issues while using a logical approach to develop and implement appropriate solutions
And have:
A Bachelor's degree and a J.D.
A minimum of three (3) years legal experience at a professional services organization
Prior experience as a Corporate associate in a large law firm
Compensation & Benefits Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also receive a generous and competitive total compensation package. The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $180,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location. Discretionary bonuses may be awarded in recognition of individual and firm performance — and profit-sharing partnership contributions to 401(k) accounts may be given based on firm performance.
