OverviewDirectly manage to conclusion all reported and outstanding claims and incidents in all areas of operation, and oversee management of worker's compensation claims. Analyze each newly reported claim to determine if it should be self-handled, assigned to outside counsel, reported to the insurance company or transferred to another entity. Interact and conduct claims meetings with senior members of NYU, NYU Langone, legal counsel, insurance brokers, attorneys, third-party claim administrators and claimants for investigations. Negotiate and settle insured and/or self-handled claims. Manage the University Claims group which includes University Workers Compensation cases as well as University and NYU Langone Health Property, Casualty & Employment Pract
