Our Bay Area Transactions group (with offices in Silicon Valley and San Francisco) is seeking to hire an Associate with 2-5 years of experience in the Emerging Companies/Venture Capital and Mergers and Acquisitions areas.

Job Requirements:
2 to 5 years of experience in the Emerging Companies/Venture Capital and Mergers and Acquisitions areas
Experience working with early-stage and other emerging companies, including in their general corporate work and in their Seed and other Venture Capital equity financings
Experience with M&A and general corporate work, including contract negotiations
Basic knowledge of federal and state securities and related laws
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working effectively within a deadline-driven environment
Positive client-service attitude
Detail oriented, with excellent organizational skills
Exercises good judgment
Ability to be flexible and adapt
Ability to work effectively both within a team environment and independently
Member in good standing of California bar
Strong academic credentials
Expected Pay Range for Associates: 2023/2022 Class Compensation Years: $215,000
2021 Class Compensation Years: $225,000
2020 Class Compensation Years: $250,000
2019 Class Compensation Years: $295,000
2018 Class Compensation Years: $345,000
2017 Class Compensation Years: $370,000
2016 Class Compensation Years: $400,000
2015 and more senior class compensation years: $415,000
