POSITION OVERVIEW:
Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Assistant supports the Talent Acquisition Department with the key accountabilities included herein and other duties as assigned.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Assist with recruitment process for summer associates, entry-level associates, lateral associates, and corporate staff
Assist with drafting, updating and publicizing job postings
Provide support for the on-campus interview process and participation in job fairs by ordering and preparing materials, corresponding with law schools and job fair sponsors, organizing and distributing candidate materials, and following up with attorneys and candidates as necessary
Assist with coordination of summer associate program by organizing meetings across departments, following up with participants, communicating with outside vendors, maintaining meeting notes
Schedule interviews, process background checks, and maintain pre-hire documents.
Update status of open job requisitions and candidate status in applicant tracking system
Organize and maintain system for processing check requests and correspond with accounting department and venders regarding payment of invoices
Perform such other/additional duties as may from time to time be assigned
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with candidates, recruitment agencies, staff, managers and attorneys.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills, planning, and attention to detail while attending to multiple tasks and processes.
Experience with social media and web-based platforms is a plus.
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (viRecruit preferred).
Strong skills in MS Office Suite.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Previous law firm or other professional services firm experience preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS (Environment within which the work is performed):
HYBRID
This position will be following a hybrid work schedule with the flexibility of working in-office (2-3 days per week) and remotely from home. Management will determine work schedule and may alter schedule to align with business needs. Office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature, and the like. This position will comply with all Firm policies including the Hybrid obligations of the Firm’s Employee Information Governance Policy.
Some light travel required
