USC Gould School of Law is seeking applications for a full-time, fixed-term position (through June 30, 2025), with benefits, for a Program Assistant with the USC Gould School of Law Immigration Clinic. Contingent on ongoing funding, the position would be extended on an annual basis.
The Program Assistant provides support to the teaching clinics and service projects of the Gould Immigration Clinic. Duties include supporting Clinic faculty, attorneys, and clinical law students, maintaining case management database, preparing reports to funders, case management, training and supervising undergraduate student administrative workers, conducting intake interviews, and assisting with completion of immigration applications.

Candidates must have the following skills and experiences:
undergraduate degree;
excellent communication skills, written and verbal;
strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple projects and case work;
ability to interact and engage with wide range of persons from diverse ethnic, cultural, and educational backgrounds;
ability to plan, organize and execute activities to meet project objectives;
experience in providing leadership and direction for day-to-day project operations and administrative activities;
ability to train and supervise undergraduate student administrative workers and volunteers;
ability to monitor and implement funding contracts from different funders (governmental and non-governmental), act as main administrative liaison between funders, Clinic staff, and USC budget office, and ensure compliance with grant terms, including data capture, reporting, case opening and closing, and invoicing;
ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment;
proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and data management systems.
The following additional skills and experience are preferred:
fluency in Spanish (strongly preferred);
experience working on immigration issues;
experience with Cerenade eImmigration case management platform;
experience managing social media platforms and websites;
knowledge of WordPress and plugins.

The hourly rate range for this position is $24.30 - $28.21.
