St. Luke's Health System in Boise, ID is seeking an Associate Counsel 1 to join our Legal Department. The position is with our Provider Relations and Litigation team, and responsibilities include contracting with physicians and litigation support for non-malpractice cases.
Unit/Position Summary
The Associate Counsel 1 provides guidance and support on organizational legal issues.
Using established procedures and working under immediate supervision, performs assigned tasks.
Writes, reviews, and advises on legal contracts and agreements.
Ensures the organization operates in accordance with all applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations.
Assists with representation of the organization in legal matters.
Assists with governance, litigation and risk management activities.
Works closely with outside counsel, in-house attorneys, and/or various stakeholders.
May help represent and defend the organization against suits and claims.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Advanced degree - J.D. or LL.M.
Experience: 0 years of relevant experience.
Licenses/Certifications: Must be a member of the Idaho Bar within one year.
