The Iowa Department of Revenue’s Legal Services and Appeals Division is currently seeking an Attorney. Candidates with experience will be considered, but years of experience are not a requirement. The Legal Services and Appeals Division is responsible for: Tax Appeals: The Appeals Section of the Division reviews tax appeals and participates in administrative hearings for the Department.  Legal Services: The Legal Services Section of the Division provides legal support to the Director and Department staff across all divisions of the Department. Legal work for the Department involves a variety of subjects including but not exclusive to tax. Attorneys work on questions of administrative law, constitutional law, contracts, and other subjects as they come up.
