Kutak Rock LLP seeks an experienced associate attorney to join the firm’s corporate department in its Omaha office. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), securities, and/or general corporate matters and an interest in developing their skills and knowledge while working closely with experienced partners. Strong analytical reasoning skills
Ability to review, analyze, and draft complex documents accurately and efficiently
Ability to manage multiple matters and tasks simultaneously and to complete tasks efficiently, effectively, and in a timely manner
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Ability to competently and professionally communicate with clients and supervising attorneys
Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines
Excellent organizational and matter management skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work professionally and collaboratively with partners, associates, and support staff
Ability to work effectively with large working groups as part of a transaction team
Desire to actively engage in client development activities
QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience
Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an ABA accredited law school in the United States required
Currently admitted to practice in Nebraska with an active bar license in good standing or able to be admitted within one year required
2+ years of relevant transactional experience
