Are you an experienced Personal Injury Attorney practicing in a northern state and yearning to trade snow for sunshine? We have an exciting opportunity for you in Florida. Our well-established personal injury firm – with offices in Tampa (coastal) and Winter Haven (inland) – is expanding. We’re seeking a driven attorney with 5+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience to bring their expertise down south. Join us now (yes, even while you’re preparing for the Florida Bar exam) and be ready to hit the ground running with a full caseload as soon as you’re admitted!
Why Join Our Team?
Immediate Start & Florida Bar Support: We are hiring now. Begin working with us even as you prepare for the Florida Bar exam. You’ll have our full support while you study, and an active caseload waiting for you on day one once you’re licensed in Florida.
Exciting Cases & Growth: Step into a practice with cases ready to go – no need to build your own book of business from scratch. Focus on litigation and advocacy from the start. We handle a wide range of high-value personal injury matters, giving you the chance to shine in the courtroom and grow your trial experience.
Competitive Compensation: Enjoy a competitive salary commensurate with your experience, along with performance-based bonuses. We provide a comprehensive benefits package (health insurance, retirement plan, etc.), and we’ll assist in making your transition to Florida as smooth as possible (including guidance with relocation needs).
Choose Tampa or Winter Haven: Select the location that fits your lifestyle. Tampa offers a vibrant city life, Gulf Coast beaches, and big-city amenities. Winter Haven provides a charming, family-friendly community amid dozens of scenic lakes. Both locations put you within an hour of major attractions and airports, so you get the best of both worlds.
Florida Lifestyle Perks: Trade in your snow shovel for year-round sunshine and outdoor fun. Weekends mean relaxing on sandy beaches, boating and fishing on crystal-clear lakes, or exploring nearby theme parks. Plus, you’re within an hour’s drive of professional sports excitement in every major league (NFL, NBA, MLB, MLS) – say goodbye to blizzards and hello to tailgates and beach days!
“Work Hard, Play Hard” Culture: Join a team that’s as ambitious in the courtroom as we are adventurous on the weekend. We push for excellence for our clients and then reward ourselves by enjoying all that Florida has to offer. Work hard on your cases, and enjoy your downtime – whether that’s golfing, fishing, or cheering on the Buccaneers, Rays, Magic, or Orlando City soccer. We value dedication and quality of life.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and 5+ years of successful plaintiff personal injury litigation practice. (Trial and deposition experience highly valued.)
Licensing: Must be licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. state. Florida Bar admission (or pending exam) is required to practice – if you’re not Florida-barred yet, you should be registered for an upcoming Florida Bar exam. (We will consider candidates who can work now and are on track to pass the Florida Bar.)
Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Florida in the immediate future. You’ll be based in either our Tampa or Winter Haven office – let us know your preference. (Relocation assistance or guidance will be provided to help you settle in.)
Legal Skills: Strong litigation skills with a track record of advocating for plaintiffs. You should be comfortable managing a caseload, handling cases from inception through resolution. Excellent negotiation, legal research, and courtroom advocacy skills are expected.
Driven & Ambitious: A self-starter attitude with an entrepreneurial drive. You take initiative, set high goals, and are eager to grow your career. We want someone who is motivated to achieve great results for our clients and isn’t afraid to hit the ground running in a new environment.
Team Player: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You work well in a team and contribute to a positive office environment. Our ideal attorney thrives in a collaborative setting, embraces a "work hard, play hard" mentality, and is excited to integrate into our firm’s active, upbeat culture.

At our firm, you’ll find a welcoming, collegial atmosphere where mentorship, continuous learning, and camaraderie are core values. We encourage our attorneys to leverage Florida’s amazing quality of life – whether that means team outings to a Tampa Bay sports game, charity 5K runs on the weekend, or family time at the beach. Our leadership is committed to your professional growth and personal well-being. As we expand in Tampa and Winter Haven, we remain dedicated to maintaining an upbeat, “work hard, play hard” environment.
