We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic legal team as Sr. Corporate Counsel – Intellectual Property & Network Litigation. You will be a key contributor, actively working on and managing all aspects of intellectual property litigations and disputes. Your primary responsibilities will focus on resolving patent disputes, but you will also work on other types of intellectual property issues and, as needed, commercial network litigation. You will partner with other lawyers in the Legal Department and business clients to proactively mitigate IP risk and deliver advice that aligns potential risk mitigation with T-Mobile’s business objectives.
To succeed in this role, you must be a self-starter. An attorney with excellent litigation and negotiation skills. A person with confidence, first-rate judgment, and communication skills, and the ability to work well with others inside and outside your organization.
The experience you’ll need to bring.
Juris Doctorate or international equivalent.
7-10 years of relevant litigation experience, preferably including experience at a top-tier law firm, with significant experience handling trials, hearings, depositions, and/or arbitrations.
Broad knowledge of patent law and patent litigation before U.S. District Courts and, preferably, the USPTO.
Exceptional legal writing skills, including drafting and editing complex legal arguments, and outstanding attention to detail.
Active bar license to practice law in the state or jurisdiction where the employee will be practicing (or ability to obtain upon hiring).
