We’re looking for a compassionate, driven, and detail-oriented attorney to join our small but dedicated legal team to represent clients in all types of family law cases.
At our firm, we take pride in helping people navigate some of life’s most difficult moments — from divorce and custody disputes to adoptions and protective orders. Our ideal candidate is someone who understands that family law isn’t just about statutes and procedures; it’s about people, relationships, and real outcomes that matter.
Responsibilities:
Represent clients in a variety of family law matters including divorce, custody, support, and guardianship cases
Draft legal documents, court filings, and correspondence
Conduct legal research and case analysis
Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients from start to finish
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Iowa
2 years of family law experience preferred (but we’re open to newer attorneys with strong interest and clinical experience)
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently
Commitment to professionalism, discretion, and client-centered service
