We are seeking a Public Affairs Analyst to join a Venable team of high-impact, high-capacity analysts who have served in front-line roles in government agencies, big tech, and various Fortune 100-500 companies. Venable’s analyst team provides a holistic approach to clients facing strategic, reputational, or operational challenges. Whether clients need help operationalizing privacy solutions, navigating disruptive events, or responding to cyber threats, our team has addressed such challenges from every angle and is a one-stop shop for your cyber needs.
Engage with cross-functional stakeholders, including policy, legal, communications, product, and public relations teams, to understand outcome requirements, align on issues, build relationships, and provide key deliverables.
Collaborate with various teams to craft compelling narrative campaigns and engagement strategies for policy stakeholders in the privacy arena.
Spearhead various special projects, including partnering with clients to develop programs, processes and policies designed to better protect customer privacy and better educate external stakeholders on specific privacy issues.
Adapt to the fast-moving, exciting, changing, and evolving work environment.
Some onsite travel required.
Minimum 3-5 years of public affairs and project management experience.
Leadership experience a plus
Strong proficiency in Google Product Suite (Google Docs, Google Slides, and Google Sheets).
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Must be ‘client ready’ Must consider self to be high in intellectual capacity
