Human Resources Director
SUMMARY   Primary purpose of position is to implement and support management decisions of Commissioners' Court related to Human Resources. Under limited direction of Commissioners' Court; responsible for advising elected officials and department heads in the area of human resources management, including but not limited to, recruitment, classification, compensation, records, performance evaluations, employee relations, and communications. Responsible for County compliance with state, federal, and local employment laws. Facilitates the implementation of County personnel policies. Oversees the County Benefits program, acts as Loss Control Supervisor, and is the County HIPAA Privacy Officer and point of contact.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
