Broyles Kight & Ricafort PC is seeking a bilingual (Spanish & English) Immigration Paralegal to assist with the removal defense area of the Immigration Law Group.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and file applications with Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR), US Citizenship & Immigration Services, National Visa Center (NVC)
Communicate with clients to obtain information, explain process, provide status updates, and answer questions
Communicate and work with attorneys and clients to gather facts, evidence, and documentation to support applications for relief with EOIR/USCIS
Prepare pleadings to be filed with EOIR, assemble applications for relief to be filed with EOIR/USCIS
Assist with witness preparation for hearings before EOIR
Manage caseload to ensure all filing deadlines are met, maintain appropriate records, and keep clients informed of status of case
Communicate with attorneys about case strategy, challenges, developments

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate
Bilingual (Spanish and English)
Minimum of One year of experience in immigration law, preferably including removal defense before EOIR
Ability to independently manage various types of cases from intake to completion with minimal supervision
Knowledge of immigration law, effective case management skills, and problem-solving ability
