Responsible for the management of medical professional liability claims and litigation for IHA affiliates which include the Illinois Provider Trust, Illinois Risk Management Services and Medical Alliance Insurance.  Manages the professional and general liability claims for assigned healthcare systems, hospitals and physicians. Responsible for case strategy, investigation, and oversight of case action plan in collaboration with client/insured and defense counsel.  Outline of Responsibilities: Manage claims and litigation for hospital members, insured physicians and physician groups Presuit evaluation of claims including investigation, medical record review, liability analysis, expert retention and discussion with insureds and clients
