Overview:
The Senior Assistant General Counsel, Director of Corporate International Regulatory Compliance (CIRC), reports directly to the Chief Compliance Officer and will be a key member of the legal leadership team. They will be responsible for ensuring corporate-wide compliance with import and export regulations, sanctions, and customs while leading Leidos’ Corporate International Regulatory Compliance team. This is a global role and will encompass both domestic and international responsibilities regarding regulations governing international business activities.
Experience:
10+ years of legal experience, including significant experience working in the field of international regulatory compliance, including but not limited to ITAR, EAR, OFAC, anti-boycott regulations, Census Bureau regulations, U.S. Customs regulations, and BATFE regulations. Experience leading and managing a team of attorneys and compliance specialists preferred.
Location/Relocation:
Reston, VA. This is a hybrid in-office role. Relocation will be considered, though local candidates are preferred. Remote candidates will not be considered.
Compensation:
Commensurate with experience. The package includes base salary, target bonus, equity, and generous benefits.
Bar:
Must be licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and willing and able to become licensed in Virginia within one year of joining Leidos.
