JOB SUMMARY: Provides nursing care to individuals who present to the Harris Health System for treatment, evidence collection and injury documentation. Completes and documents physical, social and safety assessments on each patient. Interacts in a professional manner with the patient, family and members of the multidisciplinary team. Participates in education and implementing prevention strategies within the community. Testify in courts of law as an expert witness. Is available to respond to locations within the Harris Health System to care for victims and/or perpetrators of trauma, assault or abuse. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1.Education/Specialized Training/Licensure:Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing. Current
