Moore & Van Allen, PLLC, a large southeastern law firm with a national practice, is seeking a Financial Restructuring Attorney for its Bankruptcy & Financial Restructuring group in our Charlotte office.   

 

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a highly regarded Bankruptcy and Restructuring group with a nationally recognized practice.  Our team consistently earns recognition in prominent legal rankings, reflecting our expertise and successful track record.  Several of our talented lawyers have been recognized regularly by Chambers, as well as by Super Lawyers and other rankings, a testament to their professional achievements and peer recognition in the field.  This group is a full-service restructuring practice with a deep specialization in representing national and regional banks and other creditors in complex financial matters, including workouts of distressed credits, out-of-court restructurings, and syndicated credit facilities.  In addition, the group also has substantial expertise in the representation of special situation funds and private equity-backed portfolio companies and their sponsors in out-of-court and in-court distress situations and transactions. 

Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of seven years of corporate restructuring experience in BigLaw with expertise in identifying insolvency issues within lending documents and effectively addressing them. Prior experience, including a Bankruptcy Court clerkship, is desirable, and familiarity with finance transactions will be considered advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate strong academic credentials and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
