Overview:
This attorney helps manage and oversee legal matters related to AvalonBay’s real estate and real estate investment activities, with a particular focus on acquisitions, dispositions, developments, redevelopments, joint ventures, structured investments, and other complex development and investment vehicles. This position will also provide advice to general questions and issues related to real estate matters and other legal issues, as appropriate.
Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of at least 8 (ideally more than 8) years of broad-based commercial real estate transactional experience obtained at a prominent law firm or sophisticated corporate legal department.
Location/Relocation:
Arlington, VA. This is an in-office role requiring four days per week onsite, and local candidates are preferred.
