Overview: The Lowe’s Legal Department serves as a proactive and strategic business partner focused on accelerating growth, managing risk, and protecting the Lowe’s brand. Lowe’s is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join its Corporate Legal team. This position may be tailored to the successful candidate’s experience and will focus either on (i) corporate governance and securities compliance or (ii) M&A and strategic transactions. In either case, the Corporate Counsel will also gain meaningful exposure to the complementary area by working closely with experienced team members at Lowe’s. The Corporate Counsel will serve as a legal advisor to executive leadership and cross-functional teams on a wide range of corporate legal matters and will assist with corporate structuring and strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal partners across Finance, Tax, Investor Relations, and Communications.

Compensation: Lowe’s offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, consisting of a base salary, target bonus, and an annual equity grant.

Location: This role is based in Mooresville, NC (near Charlotte) and requires five days per week in-office.

Relocation: This is a national search, and the Company will assist with relocation costs.

Experience: The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience practicing law in a leading law firm and/or in-house legal department with either strong SEC reporting and compliance and corporate governance experience, or significant M&A and strategic transaction experience.
