								<description>New York, New Jersey,  Lowenstein Sandler is seeking an Associate to join our Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Group in our New York or New Jersey offices.&#xa0;Candidates should have 2 &#8211; 4 years of major firm experience structuring employment agreements, equity compensation, deferred compensation, change in control arrangements, and severance and separation arrangements. Representative clients should include private and public companies, start-up companies, private equity and senior executives. Deal experience should include private and public company M&#38;A transactions, IPOs and other sale and liquidity transactions. Specific knowledge of Tax Code Sections 409A, 280G, and 83(b) is desirable. Must have excellent academic credentials and be admitted to the NY or NJ bar.&#xa0;The expected salary range for candidates in class years 2024 through 2022 is $235,000 to $310,000. The range provided is the salary that Lowenstein Sandler in good faith believes at the time of this posting that it is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined based on individual candidate qualifications and location.
