The University of Iowa invites applications and nominations for the position of Vice President for Legal Affairs and General Counsel. Reporting to the President, the Vice President for Legal Affairs and General Counsel serves as the chief legal officer of the University of Iowa and manages the provision of legal services to the institution. The Vice President for Legal Affairs and General Counsel will be an accomplished attorney with demonstrated leadership and management skills; a distinct appreciation for the University of Iowa’s mission and culture of respect for all of its constituencies; an advocate of diversity, equity, and inclusion; and adept at working in a complex environment on a growth trajectory.
