Faegre Drinker has an opportunity for a Professional Development Coordinator to work with our Professional Development team in our Chicago, Minneapolis, or Philadelphia office. You will be part of a dynamic team and will provide support across the Professional Development Department regarding various tasks, programs, and projects. This position will work with other talented individuals who share a passion for doing great work in the best interest of our clients.
What you would do:
Provide support to the Professional Development team members in areas of attorney evaluation and compensation processes
Provide support to the Professional Development team members in areas of career development, including First Year Associate Development Program, the Individual Development Plan Program, and the Advisor Program
Provide administrative support to the Writing Coach by scheduling office hours and compiling feedback
Coordinate various meetings, trainings and exit interviews which may involve scheduling and sending calendar invitations, preparing, and providing appropriate materials and organizing technical support
Coordinate with various operation departments to assist in completing surveys and compiling statistics
Assist the Professional Development Managers and Specialists with coordinating various professional development programs and processes, including the First Year Associate Development Program, the Individual Development Plan Program, the Advisor program, and the Evaluation and Compensation processes
Provide administrative support to the Professional Development team, including assisting Directors with tracking department expenses and processing check requests and reimbursements
Provide logistical support for firm?wide quarterly associate/counsel and senior attorney/consulting professional meetings
Support other Professional Development Department and firm initiatives as they arise

What is required:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Minimum of two years of experience in a comparable position in a law firm or professional services environment
Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office along with experience working within databases
