Procurement Specialist
Position Summary The Procurement Specialist serves as a contracting lead for the university by administering requests for goods and services through RFP’s, RFQ’s and other methods. This position conducts analysis and leverages negotiation skills to secure the best value for the University. This position has the responsibility of maintaining market-related data and intelligence and recommends procurement strategies to the Director of Business Operations. This position develops and maintains department and supplier relationships while communicating key category information to all stakeholders. The Procurement Specialist works cross functionally and within the Purchasing department to identify process improvement opportunities. This position works on specialized purchasing project
