The Missouri Public Service Commission is a state government agency with regulatory oversight of investor-owned public utility companies. Its duty is to ensure the safe and reliable provision of utility service at just and reasonable rates. The Commission regulates electric, gas, water, sewer, and steam utilities. It also regulates manufactured housing and has limited jurisdiction over telecommunication companies. The Commission is seeking a highly responsible attorney to serve as General Counsel for the five-member Commission. The General Counsel provides legal advice to the Commissioners and represents the Commission in all external litigation matters. Duties include but are not limited to: defending Commission decisions
